IRREGULARS

 Posted by

The Irregular has been the newsletter for Friends of the Trust and has kept them informed of the Trust’s activities as well as including articles of interest on Marsh-related subjects.  The first Irregular was published in March 1985, before the establishment of the Trust, and recorded details of the activities of the Romney Marsh Research Group.  It was then published in most years up to 1999 in A4 format of between six and twelve pages under the editorship of Jill Eddison.  In 2000 Sheila Sweetinburgh took over as editor, the format was changed to an A5 booklet and, belying its name, has since been produced regularly twice a year, each spring and autumn.  In 2005 Alan Tyler replaced Sheila as editor; colour illustrations were first included in 2004 and a coloured cover first used in 2008.

An index to all substantial articles is below listed by subject and place.  It can be searched by keyword (using the box to the below right) or sorted by clicking on any of the titles.  Clicking the title will bring up a readable file of the relevant Irregular copy.
